It is morning, and the students are in class. Mr. Green is the teacher. He writes on the blackboard with a piece of chalk. He says, "Please open your book to page ten." The children listen carefully. Then, there is a noise from the window. A parrot flies in! It lands on the desk of Tom. "Hello!" the parrot says. The class laughs. Mr. Green is surprised. "Close the door, please," Mr. Green tells Mary. Then he asks Tom, "Don't touch the parrot." Tom nods and says, "Sorry, Mr. Green." Next, the parrot flies to the rubber on the desk. It picks it up with its beak. The children laugh again. "Open the window, please," says Mr. Green to Sam. Sam does it quickly. Finally, the parrot flies out through the window. The class is quiet again. Mr. Green smiles and says, "Now, let's go back to the book." The children listen and learn.
